Sara Bluming is co-director of Chabad of Potomac with her husband, Rabbi Mendel Bluming. Together, they have built and nurtured a beautiful and vibrant Jewish community.

With over two decades of teaching experience, Sara’s well-presented classes are currently used by hundreds of Jewish community leaders worldwide. She serves as a mentor and guide to the women in her community as well as to Chabad women leaders across the world, who often turn to her for guidance on personal matters, mental health, and spiritual growth. 

Sara is also a member of the CKids educational department, creating and developing Hebrew School curricula. To date, over 450 Hebrew Schools across the globe use her contributions to programming, curriculum and innovative teaching techniques to create incredible learning experiences for the modern child, and Sara was awarded “Educator of the Year” for 5780-2020. 

Sara is the proud mother of IDF lone soldier Master Sergeant Yossi Bluming. Yossi made Aliyah in 2020 and is currently a paratrooper fighting in the front lines. 

Sara is a sought-after speaker who shares the messages of Torah in a refreshingly honest, real and accessible way, uplifting audiences around the world.
